The Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for their team’s account performance and proactively communicates issues and successes. They are responsible for troubleshooting and leading account brainstorms, helping the account manager/s effectively prioritize initiatives to achieve performance goals. They ensure the team is meeting revenue goals resulting in client retention.
The AS is responsible for developing senior level relationships with clients and helps their team navigate the relationships.
The AS is a leader within Client Services (CS) and is a connecting point between Leadership and the CS team. The AS effectively filters and communicates information and reporting to all stakeholders. The AS helps Adlucent formulate and achieve company goals, has a strong voice in company meetings and helps positively influence morale.
The AS is responsible for the management of their pod, including the development of their direct reports and integration of new SEM Specialists. The AS manages coaching, training, resource allocation and prioritization within the pod. The AS has experience managing people and has a high level of maturity and experiences dealing with a variety of people, personalities and challenges.
An AS has a pulse on company culture and is on the front lines working to solve issues.They lead company projects and process improvements and help define the future of Adlucent.
External Relationship Management:
Builds trust and maintains strong client relationships
Acts as a point of contact for the clients and is responsive to escalated client requests and inquiries
Client retention is a core focus of the role, which is why meeting client goals and developing strong relationships is so important.
Understands clients' brands, structure, and industry
Participates in client meetings and presentations
Works closely with Development, Solutions, Training, and Performance teams to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions
Understands a project's goals and works collaboratively to achieve results with a holistic approach across the solutions (channels) we manage for clients
Monitors industry changes and translates those into actionable recommendations
Understands and can articulate the Adlucent vision and strategy to clients and staff
Management & Leadership:
Manage a team of Account Managers and provide coaching, training, career development, resource allocation and prioritization within the pod
Provides guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members
Leads by example and acts as a mentor for the more junior team members
Role models the Adlucent Values
Responsible for oversight of the management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, and bid management
Forecasts paid search growth and regularly communicating opportunities with the client
Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to the company’s thought leadership, especially with SEM industry topics
Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles and excellent project management skills
Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations – i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
Experience managing a team and developing career growth of direct reports
Experience in managing complex paid search and digital advertising campaigns (retail vertical preferred) with client management duties
Ability to effectively communicate with clients via email, phone, and in person
Technical understanding of digital performance marketing including tracking and attribution methods
Comfortable growing a book of business and forecasting financials
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification
Bachelor’s degree required
