You have the ability to cut through data to get to the story behind the numbers to provide project expertise to clients, partners and other external audiences. The Account Supervisor (AS) is ultimately responsible for the performance of all accounts in his/her pod, and proactively communicates issues and successes. S/he is responsible for troubleshooting and leading account brainstorms, and helping the account manager prioritize effectively to achieve performance goals. S/he is charged with ensuring the team is meeting stacked hands revenue goals, and working to retain clients.
The AS is responsible for developing senior level relationships with the clients in his/her pod, and helps his/her team navigate the relationship. The involvement with client communication will depend on the size and complexity of the account, as well as the readiness of their team to own the client relationship.
The AS is seen as a leader within Client Services (CS) and is a connecting point between Leadership and the CS team. The AS has the ability to effectively filter and communicate information to all stakeholders. S/he helps Adlucent achieve, form and understand company goals and has a strong voice in company meetings and helps positively influence morale.
The AS is continually focused on improving process and innovation, and works through his/her team to develop the most effective solutions.
The AS is responsible for management of their pod, including the development of their direct reports and integration of new SEM Specialists. The AS manages coaching, training, resource allocation and prioritization within the pod. The AS has experience managing people, and has a high level of maturity and experiences dealing with a variety of people personalities and challenges. S/he also has an ability to effectively manage a pod and create development plans to help AM's succeed in their career progression.
An AS has a pulse on company culture and is on the front lines working to solve issues. S/he leads company projects and process improvements, and helps to define the future of adlucent. The AS is actively involved in curating best practices, and innovating the way we approach the industry.
The AS is charged with effective execution and alignment of company initiatives within their pod and has discipline with how they approach their responsibilities and allocate their time. S/he hosts effective meetings with set agendas, goals and next steps.
External Relationship Management:
Builds trust and maintains strong client relationships
Acts as a point of contact for the clients and is responsive to escalated client requests and inquiries
Client retention is a core focus of the role, which is why meeting client goals and developing strong relationships is so important.
Understands clients' brands, structure and industry
Participates in client meetings and presentations
Works closely with Development, Solutions, Training, and Performance teams to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions
Understands a project's goals and works collaboratively to achieve results with a holistic approach across the solutions (channels) we manage for clients
Monitors industry changes and translates those into actionable recommendations
Understands and can articulate the Adlucent vision and strategy to clients and staff
Management & Leadership:
Manage a team of Account Managers and provide coaching, training, career development, resource allocation and prioritization within the pod
Provides guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members
Leads by example and acts as a mentor for the more junior team members
Role models the Adlucent Values
Responsible for oversight of: management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions and bid management
Forecasts paid search growth and regularly communicating opportunity with the client
Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership, especially with SEM industry topics
Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles and excellent project management skills
Ability to be an advanced technical/discipline leader, and manage client communication without requiring Account Supervisor involvement
Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations – i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets
Experience managing a team and developing career growth of direct reports
Experience in managing complex paid search and digital advertising campaigns (retail vertical preferred) with client management duties
Able to effectively communicate with clients via email, phone, and on-site as needed
Technical understanding of digital performance marketing including tracking and attribution methods
Comfortable growing a book of business and forecasting financials
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and Adwords Certification
Bachelor’s degree required

Previous experience in a digital agency setting
